The Full Text RSS Feeds add-on connects the Feed to Post add-on to our Premium Full Text service, which gives you the full content for an unlimited number of posts per feed source.

This service turns RSS feed excerpts into full text RSS feeds, thus giving you the full content of the posts/articles you are importing into your WordPress website. It is the ideal partner for Feed to Post if your RSS feeds are missing any content or images from the original versions.

What do I get?

This add-on does one powerful thing, and it does it very well.

Connect Feed to Post to Our Premium Full Text Service

Bring in the full text for RSS feeds the only provide excerpts or are missing any images from the original content. This is done by scouring the original source and creating a new RSS feed from the content.

NOTE: Although out Full Text script is very powerful, it is not able to fetch the full content from 100% of websites around the web. Although we get very close, some sources may have limitations.

What can I build?

Below are a few use-cases for the combination of Feed to Post with Full Text RSS Feeds:

We’ve used this bundle of add-ons to build a few sites ourselves, including WP News Desk, Crypto Headlines, and Travel Blogger Community.

Limitations of the Service

Some RSS feeds’ original sources might have their HTML structured in a way that doesn’t allow for the full content to be fetched correctly. Click here to learn more.

Reviews

I purchased the Feed to Posts and Full Text RSS Feeds plugins for WordPress – latest version. They work beautifully. I did have a hiccup with the licensing as I was migrating the WP site from staging to review to live site servers, and the Full Text RSS Feeds plugin stopped responding. After troubleshooting myself I put in a support ticket and the WP RSS Aggregator Support Team immediately responding the next day. We worked through my issue and the plugin was back and working great again. These two plugins work so well together!

Technical Details

Requirements

  • WP RSS Aggregator Core Plugin
  • WP RSS Aggregator Feed to Post add-on
  • WordPress 4.8 or newer
  • PHP 5.4 or newer
  • WP RSS Aggregator also uses SimplePie, and hence its requirements must also be fulfilled. WordPress currently comes bundled with SimplePie version 1.3.1. To review its minimum system requirements please click here.
  • All our plugins work only on self-hosted versions of WordPress (WordPress.org) and are not compatible with the hosted version of WordPress (WordPress.com).
  • The core plugin requires WP Cron in order to import posts. Click here to learn more.
  • This add-on requires the Feed to Post add-on to be installed and activated on your WordPress site in order to function. It integrates Feed to Post with our premium full text service.
  • This add-on requires a valid and activated license key (not expired or invalid) in order to function, meaning the license must be renewed to continue using the Premium Full Text Service once the license reaches its expiry date. It does not require Feed to Post to also have a valid and activated license key.

Other details:

  • Our Premium Full Text service is server-intensive. As a result, it can only process a certain amount of feed items at once. Therefore, you may not be able to import full RSS content from feed sources which contain a very large amount of items. The script might also be unable to pull in the full content of certain sources due to their content structure. Learn more here.
  • Yearly renewal price options are billed yearly,  automatically. License keys for yearly renewals provide you with updates and support for one (1) year. If you have a valid subscription, the license keys are renewed automatically every year. If not, the license key must be renewed manually to keep benefitting from any updates and support, and for Full Text RSS Feeds to continue working.
  • Lifetime licenses do not require any renewal payments after the initial purchase. License keys for lifetime licenses provide you with updates and support for the lifetime of the plugin.
  • “Single Site”, “Up to Five Sites” and “Up to Twenty Sites” refer to the number of WordPress sites you can activate each license key on. They do not refer to the number of feed sources you can import from. In fact, the number of feed sources per site is unlimited.
  • All add-ons and bundles are covered by our 30 Day 100% Money Back GuaranteeView full terms & conditions.

These notes were formulated from various questions asked of our support team over the past years.

Q: Does Full Text RSS Feeds work with the core plugin only?

A: No, it requires the Feed to Post add-on. This is purely an integration of our full text script with the Feed to Post add-on.

Q: Does Full Text RSS Feeds work with the Excerpts & Thumbnails add-on?

A: No, it works solely with the Feed to Post add-on. This is purely an integration of our full text script with the Feed to Post add-on.

Q: Do you have a tutorial on how to use Feed to Post and Full Text RSS Feeds to build a fully-functional WordPress site with imported content?

A: Yes, take a look at this tutorial on WP Mayor about how we built the WP News Desk website – all of the WP News Desk site’s content is purely imported content through WP RSS Aggregator. The tutorial uses the entire Pro Plan, so the filtering options would only be available if you also own the Keyword Filtering add-on.
