We have some very exciting news for you today; the launch of our very own Full Text RSS Feeds service. This service will fetch the full content from feeds which only provide an excerpt by default. There are no limits on items per feed source and this service has been designed especially to work with the Feed to Post add-on.

The Full Text RSS Feeds add-on is now available in our extensions store and its license works like all our other add-ons; giving you one year of updates and support.

  1. Wonderful feature!

I am wondering, if there is any way to limit the amount of content brought in from this type of function?

For instance, is there any way of limiting the fetched content to say 250, 500, 1000, or 1500 words? Or perhaps # of paragraphs?

I could not find any obvious way to do this, and hoped you may help to shed light on such capability.

    • Hi Zack,

We’re glad to hear that you like the add-on!

Unfortunately, at the moment it does not have its own dedicated limit. We are planning however on adding an option in Feed to Post itself to limit the content imported by words, so as to limit the amount of data brought into the database.

Make sure to keep your license key activated and keep an eye out for this new option in future updates!

  2. I want a site like newsnow.co.uk and I see your product can help me to. I wanna know if I can use the free version or paid version for a full RSS Feed Reader site just like the site stated above.

  3. Can you provide at least one URL of a site that has purchased your combo FeedtoPost/FullTextRSS so we can see it functioning?

    • Sure you can take a look at the Showcase page, there are a number of users with this combination.

Yes there are a few listed that have full feeds..but no way to identify that they are using your plugins.. so again I ask you to please supply a URL that you have sold to that is successfully using your work.
Just looking for a bit more assurance in this matter. Maybe just peek into your support listings to get one or two?

This shouldn’t be a difficult task?

        Thanks
