AI Credits are attached to your license and can be assigned or shared across the sites using that license.
How credits are handled depends on the type of license you have, whether the site is a live or staging site, and whether you are using a WordPress Multisite network.
How AI Credits Work on Single-Site Licenses
For single-site licenses, the full AI Credit balance is automatically assigned to your live site when the license is activated. Once activated, that site can use all credits included with the license.
By default, staging and development sites are assigned 0 AI Credits to help prevent accidental credit usage during testing. You can still use AI features on these sites by manually allocating credits from your account when needed.
Note: During the initial AI Credits rollout, if you are an existing customer with a license already activated on a live site and one or more staging or development sites, you will need to manually allocate credits before you can use AI features.
How AI Credits Work on Multi-Site Licenses
For multi-site licenses, AI Credits are not automatically split across sites. Instead, the total AI Credit balance for the license is available in your account, and you can allocate credits to each site based on your needs.
For example, if one site imports more items or uses more AI features than another, you can assign more credits to that site. The total number of credits allocated across all sites cannot exceed the AI Credit balance available for the license.
Note: When your multi-site license renews, credits are refreshed at the license level. You will need to manually allocate credits to each site again from your account after renewal.
Allocating AI Credits to Different Sites
To allocate AI Credits to different sites:
1. Log in to your account, then click the Licenses tab. Click Manage AI Credits.

2. In this section, you will see a list of domains where your license is activated. Enter the number of AI Credits you want to allocate to each domain, then click Apply.

3. Once done, you can verify the allocation from your website. Log in to your WordPress dashboard, then go to Aggregator → Manage Plan. From there, you can see the number of AI Credits allocated to that site.

Note: If the updated credits do not appear right away, click the refresh icon in the Manage Plan section to refresh the license and credit data from your account.
Using AI Credits on Staging or Development Sites
You can use AI Credits on staging or development sites after credits have been allocated to them.
This is useful if you want to test AI features before enabling them on your live site. However, any AI Credits used on staging or development sites will still count against your license’s available credit balance.
Before testing AI features on a staging site, we recommend allocating only the amount of credits you need for testing.
How AI Credits Work on WordPress Multisites
For WordPress Multisites, AI Credit behavior depends on how the license is activated.
If the license is network-activated, AI Credits are shared across the sub-sites in the network on a first-come, first-served basis.
If the license is not network-activated, each site manages its own license activation and AI Credits separately.
