Images Not Importing – Check the Feed for Images

There are times when you might have trouble importing images for some reason or another. The most important initial step is to check if the RSS feed contains an image at all.


How to check whether an RSS Feed contains images?

  • Open the RSS feed’s URL in your browser,
  • Search for keywords (Ctrl+F or CMD+F) such as img, jpg, png, etc.

If the feed source is not visible (for example: Feedburner feeds):

  • Right-click on the page and choose View Page Source.
  • Check the feed in its original format as shown below:

What If the RSS feed does not contain any images?

  • Please contact the original source to ask them to update their RSS feeds to include images.

NOTE: The inclusion of images in the RSS feeds is the responsibility of the source websites, not of WP RSS Aggregator. Our plugin can only import images that are provided within the feed unless making use of our premium full-text service alongside Feed to Post.
