You can install the free core Aggregator plugin either directly from your WordPress dashboard or by uploading it manually. Here’s how you can do both:

Method 1: Your WordPress Dashboard

While being logged in to your WordPress site’s admin dashboard, follow these steps:

  1. Access Plugins Page:
    • Go to the Plugins section in your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Add New Plugin:
    • Click the Add New button.
  3. Search for WP RSS Aggregator:
    • Use the search box to find the Aggregator plugin.
  4. Install the Plugin:
    • Click Install next to the plugin in the list.
  5. Activate the Plugin:
    • Once installed, the button will change to Activate. Click it.
    • You’ll now see a new menu item called Aggregator in your sidebar. Go there to start using the plugin.

Method 2: Manual Upload

  1. Download the Plugin:
  2. Access Plugins Page:
    • In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins.
  3. Upload the Plugin:
    • Click Add New, then select Upload Plugin.
    • Click Choose File, select the downloaded zip file (do not unzip), and click Install Now.
  4. Activate the Plugin:
    • After installation, click the Activate Plugin button.
    • You’ll now see a new dashboard menu item labeled Aggregator.

With either method, Aggregator is ready for you to use and integrate with the premium plugin if desired.
