Imported posts are stored in your WordPress site just like any other default WordPress post, allowing easy import and export. If you are using a Custom Post Type, the same exact steps apply.
Importing Posts
- Navigate: Go to
Tools>Importin your WordPress dashboard. - Choose Importer: Scroll down to WordPress and click on
Run Importer. Install it if prompted by following the instructions. - Upload File: On the Import page, click
Choose Fileto select your file, then clickUpload File and Import. - Locate Posts: Imported posts will appear under
Postsin your WordPress sidebar and can now be displayed using your theme or page builder.

Exporting Posts
- Navigate: Go to
Tools>Exportin your WordPress dashboard. - Select Posts: Choose
Posts(or your Custom Post Type), then clickDownload Export File. - Transfer: The file can now be imported into another WordPress site with Aggregator installed.

Note: The WordPress export tool lets you export content by post type. Selecting Posts will include only standard WordPress posts. Custom post types, such as Feed Items imported by Aggregator, appear as separate options. To export them, just select the relevant post type to include all items of that type in the export file.
