If you’re seeing this notice in your WordPress dashboard:

Or this notice inside Aggregator:

Don’t worry, this means there’s a version mismatch between the Aggregator Free plugin and the Aggregator Premium plugin.
When this happens, Premium features are temporarily disabled until both plugins are running the same version.
Why This Happens
WP RSS Aggregator (free) and WP RSS Aggregator – Premium are designed to work together. To ensure full compatibility, both plugins must be running the same version.
If one plugin updates before the other, WordPress will flag the mismatch and disable Premium features to avoid errors.
Update Both Plugins to the Same Version
- Log in to your WordPress admin.
- Go to
Plugins>Installed Plugins. - Look for:
WP RSS AggregatorWP RSS Aggregator – Premium
- See which plugin has an
Update nowlink.- Update that plugin.
- If both need updates, update
Aggregator (Free)first, thenAggregator Premium.

Once both are updated to the same version, Premium features will re-enable automatically.
If the Premium Update Doesn’t Show Up
When a new version is released, WordPress sometimes only shows the update for the Free plugin right away. The Premium update may appear a little later.
To refresh:
- Go to
Dashboard>Updatesand clickCheck again. - If it still doesn’t show up, wait a few minutes and check again.
