If you’re unable to update your Aggregator Premium plugin, it may be caused by one of the following issues. Follow the steps below to check and resolve the problem.
Expired Premium License
Why this happens
You need an active Premium license to continue receiving updates. If your license has expired, update notices will not appear.
How to check
- In WordPress: Go to
Aggregator > Manage Planand check the license status and expiration date. - In Your Account: Log in to your Aggregator account and click on the Licenses tab to view your license status.
How to fix
If your license is expired, you’ll need to renew it before you can continue receiving updates.

License Not Activated on Site
Why this happens
Updates may be disabled if your license key is not activated on the website where the plugin is installed.
How to check
- In WordPress: The plugin will display a notice if the license key has not been activated.
- In Your Account: Log in to your Aggregator account, go to the Licenses tab, and click Manage Sites for your license key.
How to fix
Activate your license by:
- Entering your license key in the plugin
Aggregator > Manage Plan. - Or, from your account, ensuring the correct site URL is added under Manage Sites.
Once activated, plugin updates will be enabled.

“Premium: Download failed. Unauthorized” Error
Why this happens
This error means the plugin can’t verify your license or site activation.
How to fix
- Ensure you have an active Premium license.
- Check that your site URL is listed as active in your license.
If both are correct and the error persists:
Fallback: Manual update
- Log in to your Aggregator account.
- Go to the Downloads page and download the Premium plugin.
- In WordPress, go to
Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. - Upload the file and click
Install Now > Replace current with uploaded.

Once updated manually, everything will continue working as normal.
