WP RSS Aggregator, the RSS feed importer plugin we launched way back in 2012, has broken the 500,000 download mark just a few days ago.
When I first released this plugin on the WordPress.org repository I could never have imagined that in just a few years it would have reached this important milestone and enabled me to run a product business based on its premium extensions.
Today it’s no longer a one man job, our team of 5 is still working hard on improving both the core plugin and add-ons, while also working on new features that will enhance the WP RSS Aggregator experience. This comes in addition to the great features already available, including our full text and feed creator services.
Full Text RSS Feeds is one of our strongest add-ons that, in conjunction with Feed to Post, offers you the opportunity of turning RSS excerpts into full text RSS feeds. This provides you with the full content of the posts/articles that you’re importing into your WordPress site.
Our Feed Creator Service is another great tool provided by the WP RSS Aggregator team. It allows you to create RSS feeds from webpages that do not provide their own feed. It’s very easy to use and fine-tune to your needs.
Support also takes a lot of time as we insist on making this one of the cornerstones of our business. The reviews on WordPress.org are a testimonial to the fact that we are doing a good job in this regard.
We provide support via the WordPress support forums for those using the core plugin, however, we also provide premium support for all those that purchase one or more of our premium add-ons.
I’d like to thank all our customers for supporting us on this journey. I can promise that we’ll keep working very hard on improving the product based on your feedback.
A big thank you goes out also to our whole team: Mark, Anton, Miguel and Alyona. Thanks for being part of this.
So if you’re looking to use content aggregation of any sorts on your WordPress site, WP RSS Aggregator should be your first port of call.
