In this guide, explore troubleshooting tips for the Full Text Service feature in Aggregator, available in Pro and Elite plans.
Contents

Sometimes, the Full Text Service feature in the Pro and Elite plans may cause a source to fail to import its content. This typically happens for one of two reasons:

  1. The source already provides the full content in its RSS feed.
  2. You’ve found a limitation of our Full Text service.

In the first case, there are times when you may not realise that a source’s original feed already provides all the content you need, so you don’t need the Full Text service. To test this, simply uncheck the Use full text service option in Source > Advanced > Full Text Service and run a fetch.

If Aggregator manages to import all the content you need, keep that option disabled and leave it to work as scheduled.

Should that solution not work or you’re sure the original RSS feed doesn’t provide all the content you need, you may have hit a limitation of our Full Text service. In such cases, please contact our support team to see if we can find a solution for you.
