The Grid Layout in Aggregator offers a structured and visually engaging way to present content. Follow these steps to configure and customize your grid display.

  • Navigate to the Aggregator section in your WordPress dashboard.
  • Go to Displays and either select an existing display or create a new one.
  • Choose the Grid Layout from the available options.

Customize Your Layout

Once you have selected the Grid Layout, adjust the following settings to suit your needs:

Appearance Settings

  • Number of Items and Columns: Specify how many items to show and the number of columns.
  • Item Appearance: Toggle borders, image backgrounds, and alignment.

Content Settings

  • Image: Configure size. Decide whether to use images as backgrounds or standard thumbnails.
  • Title: Show or link titles, set maximum length.
  • Excerpt: Enable and set the length for excerpts.
  • Author, Publish Date, Source Name: Choose which metadata to display. Customize prefixes and formats.
  • Add a Read more link that redirects the user to the original source.
  • Determine how links behave when a user interacts with them, such as opening in a new tab.

Audio and Pagination

  • Audio Player: Enable audio player for content with audio elements.
  • Pagination: Choose pagination style to manage navigation through content.

Final Steps

  • Preview Your Display: Ensure your display looks good across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) using preview options.
  • Save or Embed: Once customization is complete, save your settings. Use the embed option to integrate the display onto your site.
