The List Layout

The List Layout in Aggregator provides a straightforward way to present your content in a linear format. Here’s how to set it up and customize it:

• Navigate to the Aggregator section in your WordPress dashboard.
• Go to Displays and either select an existing display or create a new one.
• Choose the List Layout from the available options.

Customize Your Layout

Once you have selected the List Layout, adjust the settings to fit your needs:

Appearance Settings

• Number of Items: Specify how many items to display in the list.
• Item Settings: Choose whether to show bullets and select the bullet style.

Content Settings

• Title: Show or link titles, set the maximum length for titles.
• Author: Display the author’s name with an optional prefix.
• Publish Date: Show publish date and choose the date format.
• Source Name: Display and link the source name with an optional prefix.

Link Settings

• Add a Read more link that redirects the user to the original source.
• Determine how links behave when a user interacts with them, such as opening in a new tab.

Audio and Pagination

• Audio Player: Enable the audio player for content with audio components.
• Pagination: Select pagination style to control navigation through your list.

Final Steps

• Preview Your Display: Ensure your list looks good across different devices using preview options.
• Save or Embed: Save your settings and use the embed feature to integrate the display into your site.
